What to Prepare Before Sheltering in Place:
- Water: 1 gallon per person per day (minimum 3 days), water filter or tablets
- Food: Non-perishable meals, canned goods, snacks, manual can opener
- Lighting: Flashlights, battery-powered lanterns, extra batteries
- Warmth & Shelter: Blankets, indoor-safe heaters, window insulation
